| Delivery of AS Business Studies support days devoted to one of the four topics – Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Strategic Management. Each day comprises three business presenters who also lead students through interactive exercises.
Customer Service training days that can be tackled by AS and equivalent vocational level studies for Business Studies, Sport & Recreation, Travel & Tourism and all other awards featuring components of Customer Service at Level 2.
To support the AS/A2 business studies syllabus by recruiting business experts who can either introduce students to a new subject area, or supplement their revision strategy.
To enable students to work on “ real life “ case studies so helping them better understand the complexities of modern business theories.
To raise attainment of Business Studies at A level.
To motivate and enthuse students to pursue a career in business and improve their confidence in their own ability to do so.
The customer service programme helps students gain both an understanding and ability to apply personal bench marking to their own competence levels in delivery.
Each event lasts one day and may be attended by up to 35 students. Typically each business case study lasts up to 90 minutes. Some flexibility in adapting from standard breaks and lunch times is often appreciated.
Bookings need to be made at least a term in advance to allow sufficient time for the correct mix of business volunteers to be recruited.
An advance planning meeting with the school/college is usually required.
