| | | | | | Students are interviewed by business volunteers for a range of jobs and courses to help them practice and develop the skills required to present themselves to their best advantage. |

To allow young people to practice interview skills.
To help pupils’ prepare for job/college/university applications.
To raise pupils’ self esteem, confidence and improve communication skills.
To give pupils an insight into the world of work.
Typically business volunteers spend half a day in school and they will spend 30 minutes with each student to allow interview and feedback time.
Sessions must be planned at least half a term in advance as students will need to complete application forms and write CVs in advance of the interview.
