Use Ambassadors/volunteers from Industry to aid the delivery of
Curriculum, especially Physical processes (physics)
Introduce the principles of structural engineering to pupils
The activity is accredited and can provide 50% of the marks needed for a Constuction Industry Training Board Award.
Provides team work & problem solving activity through creative designing with a standard set of components.
Culminates in entries to the regional and national K’nex challenge.
Increases confidence in the delivery of the Science and Technology curriculum.
Either one day or as part of a Science and Technology week.
